yo it a cool hang out the music is smooth. You can drink, smoke and the cops don't do anything. But their is no place to pee so i did inthe tall grass bc it dark. its fun yo - Mr. A , posted 08/13/06 |

The Treasure Island Beach drum circle is a treasure! Drum drumming, belly dancing, fire spinning, hula hooping, kite flying, etc... 300-500 people on a good night - an eclectic mix of Hippies, Burners, Pagans, Africans, Tourists, Elders, Teenagers, Children, etc... Get there an hour before sunset - the parking lot fills quickly. Bring your alcohol in cans or plastic, and take your smoke for a walk. The public bathrooms close early - try the arcade or grocery store across the street. Every Sunday night, right as the sun is going down on us all ( ha ha ha ), on the beach across the street from the TI fun center is the LIVEST gathering that the beach has to offer... As long as the weather permits it, you won't be dissappointed... Come summer time, the turn out is always better, but winter sessions are cozy and intimate, ranging anywhere from 50-150 people...
